With an annual production capacity of 2.9GWh, equivalent to the consumption of around 800 Portuguese families, they help prevent the emission of 913 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere annually. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery aligncenter columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"692\" height=\"519\" src=\"https:\/\/growenergy.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Mesquita.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"553\" class=\"wp-image-553\" srcset=\"https:\/\/growenergy.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Mesquita.jpg 692w, https:\/\/growenergy.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Mesquita-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 692px) 100vw, 692px\" \/><figcaption class=\"blocks-gallery-item__caption\">UPP in the Alentejo Region<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>As Lu\u00eds Pereira de Almeida, general manager of Grow Energy, points out,<em>\u201cthis acquisition enriches the portfolio <\/em> of <em>Grow Solar UPP <\/em> <em>and reinforces its position as the main investor in Portugal in this segment of renewable energy assets, already surpassing the threshold of 9MW of installed capacity<\/em>&#8220;.
